 Posted by Aron on November 10 2002 (Sunday) : 01:01 AMAt times I get weary when I hear Israelis or Jews defend Israel. The same empty arguments over and over: Israeli Jews can do no wrong. Anyone who criticizes Israel is an anti-semite or a self-hating Jew, or has some deep-seated anti-Israel agenda. The Israel army speaks only the truth, and the Palestinians are inveterate liars always spreading anti-Israel propaganda. This story, related by Tom Segev, is just one of countless examples where the Israeli army has been caught lying. But of course, the mountains of evidence won't deter the defenders of Israel. Tom Segev is, no doubt, a self-hating Jew. < | >
