A textbook case of Israeli propaganda
Hysteria Posted by Aron Trauring on September 01 2002 (Sunday) : 01:40 PM

Right wing commentators (which now includes just about everyone in the israeli and Jewish establishment), often justify the continued war and occupation, by citing Palestinian incitement. If only the Palestinians would stop preaching hate to their children, peace might be possible, the argument goes. Unfortunately, these critics contend, the Palestinian school curriculum is filled with hate and anti-Jewish canards. Here are two interesting articles that shed some light on this subject.

The first is a recent study funded by the Adam Institute for Democracy and Peace. This 27 page in-depth research article entitled Democracy, History and the Battle over the Palestinian Curriculum provides a well-documented and balanced insight on the Palestinian side of the issue. A summary of this research can be found here.

On the flip side, this article gives some insight into Israeli incitement.
