Was Barak Telling the Truth?
Negotiations Posted by Aron Trauring on July 10 2002 (Wednesday) : 06:00 PM

In the last election for Prime Minister, Asaf begged me to vote for Barak. My response: "There is absolutely no difference between Barak and Sharon. Whoever wins, will follow a militaristic policy and the streets will flow with Blood. However, if Barak wins, the right will blame the left for the catastrophe. At least if Sharon wins, there will be no one to blame, and the failure of the Right will be clear to all."
Anyway, this article will give some insite into Barak's arrogant, dishonest mentality.

Sadly, half my prediction about the results of the election came true. The streets are flowing with blood and Sharon is not blaming the left. But no one is attacking Sharon for his obvious and devastating failures. In fact, "national unity" reigns supreme. What I didn't take into consideration was the 1984-like state Israel has become:

Like an answer, the three slogans on the white face of the Ministry of Truth came back to him:

WAR IS PEACE

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

Thanks to Asaf for pointing this out to me.
